The Ultimate HVAC Condensation Solution

Say goodbye to clogs & backflow

The C-Trap (U.S. Patent No. 11,585,566) is a revolutionary solution solution designed to optimize condensation drainage in HVAC/R systems. Unlike traditional traps that require complex assembly and frequent maintenance, the C-Trap offers a practical, efficient, and service-friendly alternative. Its unique design ensures continuous water flow while preventing vacuum lock issues commonly caused by system blowers.

The Science Behind

The C-Trap is installed in the evaporator’s condensate drain line, positioned closest to the unit. As condensation naturally forms on the evaporator coils, it collects in the internal condensate pan before flowing into the top inlet of C-Trap. The trap retains a controlled amount of water, effectively breaking the vacuum effect and ensuring smooth, uninterrupted drainage. Excess condensate exits through the isde outlet, directing water to a drain or run-off without obstruction.

Why Choose C-trap

Traditional condensate traps can be cumbersome, requiring glue, cutting, and reassembly for maintenance. The C-Trap eliminates these issues with a user-friendly design that enhances both performance and serviceability. Its cutting-edge functionality ensures HVAC systems operate at peak efficiency, making it a game-changing solution for contractors and technicians.

Built-in Drainage Vent: A Game Changer

Unlike other traps that require additional time, materials, and space for a drainage vent, the C-Trap includes a built-in vent. This game-changing innovation allows for pressure balancing in long piping runs, while streamlining installation and improving efficiency.

Accessible inspection & clean-out

It isn’t just another condensate trap, with its superior design, allowing the ability to inspect, service and clean. The removable cap at the bottom, provides a practical and cost-effective way to remove restrictions and clean out bacteria and mold breeding slime and sludge, that contaminates the environmentally conditioned air. The ease of maintenance and compact versatility, C-Trap outperforms traditional traps in every category.
